Amary Harris was born February 16, 1930 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Jesse Beard, Sr. and Georgia Atlee Beard. God called her home on Monday, February 3, 2025 after a brief illness.
She was married to the late Fred Harris. To this union, three children were born. One daughter Yolanda Peel preceded her in death.
Almarry was a member of The United House of Prayer and was educated in the Richmond County School System.
Almary retired after working as a nursing assistant, caring for the elderly for many years.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Barbara (Lenny) Bennett of Westley Chapel, FL and son, Donald (Susan) Harris of Philadelphia, PA; granddaughter, Keysha Harris (caregiver) and a host of grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
