Angela L. Williams, a cherished soul known for her radiant spirit and boundless love, passed away on March 4, 2026, in her hometown of Augusta, Georgia. Born on January 18, 1968, in Augusta, Angela's life was a beautiful journey marked by dedication, joy, and heartfelt connections.
Angela attended George P. Butler High School in Augusta, where her roots were firmly planted in the community she loved. Her career was a testament to her commitment to nurturing others, having retired from the Richmond County Board of Education. Through her work, she touched many lives, embodying the same care and dedication she showed in her personal life.
From a young age, Angela found solace and strength in her faith, joining Josieanna Baptist Church where her beautiful spirit and joyful laugh were a beacon of light to all who knew her. Her deep love of Gospel music resonated not only within the church walls but also in the hearts of those who knew her well.
Angela’s home was always filled with warmth and the delightful aromas of her cooking, as she enjoyed feeding others with a generosity that reflected her nurturing soul. This simple, yet profound act showed her love in the most tangible way, nourishing both body and spirit.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Tandra Williams and Shabray Williams, who carry forward her legacy of strength and love. Angela’s sisters, Tonya Thomas, Phyllis Palmers, and Jeana Kimble, along with her brothers, James Williams and David Kimble, shared lifelong bonds of family and friendship. Her devoted niece Sheena Williams, nephews Tavares Williams and Anthony Williams, and grandchildren—Zanbresha Williams, Ricky Paige, Jr., Ty'Reckus Paige, An'Brayla Williams, and Brayden "Duke" Williams—continue to celebrate her vibrant memory. The next generation, including great-grandchildren Raelynn Williams and Zahair Page, bear her spirit in their hearts.
Angela’s circle also included special friends—Lisa Levert, Carla Rouse, Natasha Sapp, and Deidre Roberson—who stood with her through life's journey and cherished her warmth and kindness. Her extended family and friends, too numerous to name but never forgotten, hold her in loving memory.
Angela was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lynda Gail Williams, and her father, Robert "Bubba" Kimble, whose legacies live on in the family she so dearly loved.
