Annie Ware

Annie Ware, a beloved soul and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, at the age of 81 in Augusta, Georgia. Born on September 1, 1943, in Columbia County, Georgia, Annie graced the world with her kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit.

Throughout her life, Annie was known for her deep compassion and devotion to those around her. She had a remarkable ability to brighten any room, wrapping her family and friends in warmth and love. Her heart was as boundless as her dedication to her community, where she made a lasting impact on many lives.

Annie's journey in this world will be honored with a visitation on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, followed by a funeral service at Macedonia Baptist Church in Martinez on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 2:30 PM. The day will culminate with her interment at the same church at 3:45 PM, where she will be laid to rest surrounded by the love she so generously gave throughout her life.

Annie's legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. Those who had the privilege of knowing her will remember her for the warmth she exuded and the affection she shared so freely. The world is surely dimmer without her light, but her spirit will continue to inspire all of us to love one another fiercely and to cherish every moment we have together.
