Anthony VBlackmon, Jr.

Anthony Blackmon Jr. peacefully transitioned on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at WellStar MCG in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on July 11, 1988, in Augusta, where he attended Lucy C. Laney High School. 

Anthony was a beloved son, family member, and friend whose presence brought light and warmth to all who knew him. His gentle spirit, kind heart, and vibrant personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

 He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Samuel and Josephine Blackmon Sr.; uncles, Samuel Blackmon Jr., Francis Howard Blackmon, and James Blackmon; as well as his maternal grandparents, Blanche and John Henry Reddish; and aunts, Mary Reddish Peterson and Teresa Reddish.

Anthony leaves behind to cherish his memory: his father and stepmother, Anthony and Rosalind Blackmon Sr.; his mother, Diane Reddish-Blackmon; siblings, Toni Blackmon, Tiffany Belcher, Tiffany (Jacob) Caldwell, and Chelsi Couloote; nephews, Kalel Taylor, Cameron Belcher, and Jaron Young; nieces, Jada Caldwell, and his fur sibling, Loki Blackmon; along with a host of aunties, uncles, cousins, family members and friends. Anthony’s life was a gift to all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
