Bernice Hayes, a beloved member of the Augusta community, passed away on April 19, 2024, surrounded by love and warmth in her hometown. She was born on February 10, 1965, in Augusta, Georgia, where she spent her early years and eventually became a cherished figure among her peers.

In her career as a self-employed individual, Bernice exhibited not only dedication but also creativity in all aspects of her work. Her passion for her craft was evident to all who knew her, and her professionalism set a standard for many in the industry to follow.

During the upcoming Memorial Service on Friday, May 3, 2024, at St Paul Baptist Church in Augusta, friends and family will gather to honor Bernice's memory and celebrate the beautiful life she lived. The service will be held from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at 11 Telfair St.

Bernice is survived by her loving family members and friends who will forever cherish the moments shared with her. While she may no longer be physically present among us, her spirit lives on in each person she has touched along the way.
