~CARRIE HIGHTOWER OBITUARY ~ Funeral Service for Mrs. Carrie Mae Hightower who entered into rest on August 21, 2011 at Select Hospital in August, Ga. will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at C. A. Reid Sr. Gibson Memorial Chapel at 11:00 A. M. with the Rev. Brown officiating. Mrs. Carrie Hightower affectionately known as Mrs. Hightower was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church of North Augusta, S. C.. Survivors are 2 daughters: Mary Elizabeth Jefferson, Carrie Lou Douglas of Augusta; 6 Grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great great- great grandchild. Burial will be in the Walker Memorial Park, Augusta, Ga.
