~ JOHN R. KENDRICK OBITUARY ~ Deacon John Robert Kendrick Retired Textile Worker Deacon John Robert Kendrick, 70, of Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest on July 8, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Kendrick was a graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School. He retired from Graniteville (Sutherlin Division) in 1996. Mr. Kendrick was a member of Jordan Grove Baptist Church where he served on the Gospel Choir, Senior Choir, and the Deacon Board. Survivors include: two sons, Gary (Sharon) and Corey (Felicia) Kendrick; one daughter, Deadrea Kendrick; grandchildren, Shalyn and Garyson Kendrick, and Jacob Haynes; and a host of other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted this Saturday, July 14, 2012, at 4 PM at Jordon Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Hammonds officiating.
