~ VERNON CUMMINGS OBITUARY ~ Funeral services for Mr. Vernon Cummings will be conducted on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 5184 Farmers  Bridge Road, Hephzibah, Georgia 30815. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Charlie Reid Funeral Home. Interment will be in Spring Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  The remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Among the many loved ones who will forever treasure his  memory are; his beloved siblings  Jesse  (Jeanette) Cummings, George  (Rosa) Cummings, Jannie (Willie) McCall Sr., and Linda (Wayne) Bennett;  additional sisters –in –law, Mertis  Cummings and Minnie Cummings; uncle, Albert (Bernice) Hughes;  god-daughter Tara (Greg) Murray; a host of  devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and loving  friends.
