Christine I. Beasley, age 92, was born on November 29, 1933, in Kissimmec, Florida, to the late Ira and Mavell Wilcox. She was the youngest of eight children.
On Monday, May 25, 2026, she peacefully entered eternal rest.
Christine attended the Kissimmee Public School System before marrying the love of her life, the late SFC (Rettiency L., Beasley, in Rencio, Nevada. As a devoted military wife, she traveled ovrescas and to numerous military installations chroughout the United States in support of her husband's service.
While raising a family at Fort Weed, Wisconsin, Christine worked in the school system through the Head Start Program. When her husband received orders to Fort Bliss Teas, she became President of the Weight Watchers Club and che Women's Support Club. During the Vietnam War, she faithfully assisted and supported families whose loved ones were deployed oveeseas.
After the family relocated from Fort Bliss to Fort Gordon, Georgia, Christine continued her service in education by working in the public school system at Sand Bar Ferry Elementary School and A. Beian Merry Elementary School. She first joined Macedonia Baptist Church and remained active there until she united with her husband at Greater Young Zion Baptist Church in 1983, where she faithfully remained a member until her passing.
In 1993, Christine was one of the founding members of the Mary E. Williams Silhouettes and served as its first treasurer. She also served faithfully with the Greater Young Zion Missionary Society, giving of her time, talents, and love in service to God and others.
Christine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Lee Beasley; and her daughters, Eva Lattice Ice.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: two sons, Dr. Cedric (Bernadhia) Beasley and Dr. Craig (Quezada) Beasley; one adopted son, Joseph Laddeter; a grandson whom she raised as ber own son, Antonie M. Beeler; one adopted daughter Bootence Canhum ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She also leaves a very special brother/nephew, Deacon Lancece Howard; a very special niece, Charlee Hines; a host of nieces, nephews, adopted children, and dear friends.
Though she will be greatly missed, her Iegacy of love, faith, service, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
