Danny Sykes

Danny Sykes was born to the late Dorothy Houston and Leon Sykes. He matriculated through his formative years; he was trained in the Santa Ana School System. He joined the US Army and trained as a Communication Specialist and Radio Teletype Instructor.

During his tenure in the military, Danny joined a non-denominational Christian church, was baptized and later ordained as a Deacon. His military service took him to foreign shores, and he distinguished himself as a Persian Gulf War Veteran. After retirement, Danny attended Devry University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Danny was a humble servant that loved his family dearly. He is survived by his wife of 47 years (Margie Levi Sykes), one son and daughter-in-law (Sean Daniel Sykes and Jennifer Holland Sykes), two grandsons, (Sean Daniel Sykes Jr. and D'Andre Sykes), and stepdaughter (Kaylee Torres). 4 stepchildren (James Levi, Anthony Brooks, Caroline Brooks, Rodrick Chatman)
