David Ernest Cheatham, beloved son, and friend, passed away on February 2, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on January 24, 1990, also in Augusta, to his parents Crystal Cheatham and Ernest Cheatham. David's untimely departure has left all who knew him heartbroken and grieving.

Throughout his life, David touched the hearts of many with his warm smile, gentle nature, and unwavering kindness. He will always be remembered as a selfless individual who went out of his way to help others. David found solace in serving people as a server at Villa Europa restaurant. He took immense pride in ensuring that each guest had an enjoyable dining experience. Although David's life was cut tragically short, his impact continues to resonate within the community he called home. Friends and family recall his passion for making meaningful connections and going the extra mile for those in need. His generosity knew no bounds and he would often donate his time to local charities.

To honor David's memory and celebrate all the joy he brought into the lives of others, a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024. The service will take place at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. The service will commence at 2:30 PM.

David leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be cherished forever by those lucky enough to have known him. Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we find solace knowing that David's spirit will continue to illuminate our lives. In this time of sorrow, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his parents Crystal Cheatham and Ernest Cheatham as they navigate this painful loss.
