He was the beloved son of Emlie Smiley and the oldest of seven children, a role that shaped his sense of responsibility, discipline, and devotion from an early age. From childhood, David carried a spirit marked by resilience, generosity, and a deep appreciation for laughter.
David proudly served in the United States Army, a defining chapter of his life that strengthened his character and broadened his world. During his service, he met the love of his life, Rosalinda, affectionately known as Rose. Professionally, David dedicated many years as a Psychiatric Technician, a role that called upon his patience, empathy, and strength. He touched countless lives through his work, offering understanding and stability to those who needed it most.
