Dennis Ray Jordan

Dennis Ray Jordan was born in Lake Village, Arkansas on August 11, 1955, to the late Odessa Pugh Jordan and Alfred Jordan, Sr. He attended Lakeside High School, and after high school, he joined the Army, where he honorably served for 20 years from 1973 to 1993 in the United States Army. He also became an Ordained Deacon in the 1990s, and he became an Honorary Deacon at First New Hope Baptist Church on November 19, 2023, by the late Pastor Ralph Holloway.

During his military career, Dennis completed two tours in Germany and specialized in communications. He also received his associate degree from Georgia Military College and studied at Paine College. After retiring from the military, Dennis became a realtor selling Real Estate, where he met his wife, Lori Jordan, who he called his "special wife".

To this union came the children John, Juanae, Joy, and Jeremiah. A true jack of all trades, Dennis could fix just about anything. He enjoyed working on cars, working in the church, teaching, and training our children. He also loved watching football and had a deep love for watching westerns.

Deacon Dennis Ray Jordan leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving wife, Lori Jordan; 4 sons and 3 daughters; 6 grandchildren, including the newly born named Demi Raylan Jordan; one sister, Bobbie Carr; two brothers, Michael E. Jordan and Tommy Lee Jordan (Dianna Jordan); his brother-in-law, Mark Hardy; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was very family oriented, he loved his family.
