Born on January 21, 1942, in Hephzibah, Georgia, she embodied the warmth of the South and was known for her vibrant smile that could brighten the darkest days.

Donnell was more than just a member of her community; she was a beacon of kindness and strength. Friends and family alike cherished her welcoming nature and her unwavering support. She had a remarkable talent for making those around her feel valued and important, reminding us all of the beauty of human connection.

Her journey through life was filled with moments of joy and laughter, as well as trials that she faced with grace and resilience. Donnell had a unique ability to find light in every situation, a trait that inspired those who were fortunate enough to know her. In honor of her life, a viewing will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will follow on Saturday, March 7, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, also at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home. Finally, she will be laid to rest at South View Cemetery at 12:15 PM on the same day, where family and friends can gather to pay their final respects.
