Loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend, Donnie Shavers left this world on March 10, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. Born on February 22, 1962, in Savannah, Georgia, Donnie's presence touched the lives of many and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Donnie's life will be celebrated in a series of services. The visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta. Following this, the funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Beulah Grove Baptist Church, also in Augusta. Donnie will then be laid to rest at Walker Memorial Park in Augusta at 12:15 PM.

In his journey through life, Donnie was blessed with a loving family who meant everything to him. He is survived by his devoted wife Marilyn Shavers and his beloved sons Deontaye Shavers and Austin Steed, Jr. Donnie's love and guidance will forever be a guiding light in their lives.

Donnie Shavers touched the hearts of many with his kindness, warmth, and infectious smile. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and friends, his strong work ethic, and his willingness to always lend a helping hand.
