Herschel was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many with his kindness and compassion. He possessed a gentle soul and had an unwavering commitment to helping others. Whether it was lending a listening ear or going out of his way to extend a helping hand, Herschel had a profound impact on those fortunate enough to have known him.

Family was essential to Herschel, and he cherished the bonds he shared with his loved ones. Whether it was gathering for joyful family reunions or offering support during challenging times, he treasured every moment spent with his parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The love and warmth he shared with them will forever be remembered.

To honor Herschel's memory and celebrate his remarkable life, a visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA, 30901. Friends and acquaintances are invited to join his family during this time of remembrance.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2023, starting at 2:30 p.m., also at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, GA. The ceremony will be an opportunity for all who loved Herschel to gather together and pay their final respects.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Herschel's favorite charity or organization. This gesture will not only honor his memory but also continue the compassionate work he dedicated himself to during his lifetime.
