Jabe Clark III, born on September 22, 1993, in Augusta, Georgia, departed this world on January 12, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia. He shone brightly in the hearts of those who knew him, known as the life of the party with a lively spirit that could lift anyone's mood. Jabe was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, and his memory will forever be cherished by his surviving family and friends.
Educated at the Academy of Richmond County in Augusta, Jabe later attained his General Degree, showing the commitment he had not only to his own growth but also to inspiring those around him. His warm personality drew people in, as he loved to laugh and create unforgettable memories with family and friends. Jabe’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, reminding all of them of the happiness and camaraderie they shared together.
He is survived by his father, Jabe (Julia) Clark, Jr., along with his siblings: Michael McKeone, Melissa McKeone, Elizabeth McKeone, Dwight King, Brandi (Carter) Posey, and James Carter. Jabe also leaves behind 26 nieces and nephews, a testament to the loving and supportive family that surrounded him, along with a host of friends who considered him like family.
Jabe is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Marie McKeone, his grandmother, Pauline Clark, his grandfather, Jabe Clark, Sr., and his brother, Leon Carter, Jr. Each of these individuals played a role in shaping the extraordinary person Jabe became, and their spirits carry on within him.
To honor his memory and celebrate the vibrant life he lived, a Visitation will be held on January 29, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location, where friends and family are invited to come together to share stories, laughter, and love—just as Jabe would have wanted.
Though we mourn the loss of Jabe Clark III, we take comfort in remembering the joy he brought into our lives, and his spirit will forever remain a part of us.
