Jarrett “Jock” Danridge, beloved son of Lucretia Williamson and the late Seymour Danridge, was born on November 9, 1986, at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. Surrounded by his loving family at Wellstar Health Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, Jarrett transitioned peacefully to his eternal home on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
Jarrett was educated in the Aiken County Public School System and was employed by Crossroads Building Supply in Beech Island, South Carolina.
He had such a huge love for life and lived every day with a brightness in his heart. Jock was an avid sports fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. When it came to football, his loyalty was a toss-up between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots, depending on who was on the roster and how well they were performing during the regular season. He also had a deep appreciation for older-model automobiles, with a particular love for Lincolns and Cadillacs.
Jarrett was preceded in death by his father, Seymour Danridge; his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Emma Barefield; and his paternal grandfather, Clifford Danridge.
He leaves to cherish his everlasting memory to his mother and stepfather, Lucretia and Larry Williamson; his beloved children, Savion Danridge, Ja’Rezz Wright, Triston Ingram, Christiana Danridge, Seige Danridge, and Caleb Danridge; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Danridge; his siblings, Valencia Williamson, Demetrius Andrades, Andre Danridge, and Marquis Hazel; and three nieces whom he absolutely adored, Arayla, A’Drieas, and Aviana.
He will also be lovingly remembered by his godparents, Marion and Bernice Carter; a host of aunts, uncles, additional nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and all those whose lives he touched along the way.
Jarrett will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his passion for sports and classic automobiles, and the memories he created with those who knew and loved him. Though his time with us was not long enough, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
