Mr. Joe Allen Dunbar, a devoted nursing assistant at The Medical College of Georgia, passed away on June 28, 2024 in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia. He was born on September 19, 1953, in Augusta.

Throughout his career as a nursing assistant, Mr. Dunbar touched the lives of many with his compassionate care and unwavering dedication. His work at The Medical College of Georgia left a lasting on both colleagues and patients.

Mr. Dunbar will be remembered fondly by his surviving family members and friends, including his son Joe Wright and daughter Latisha Samuels.

A visitation to honor Mr. Dunbar's life will take place on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. A Celebration of Life service will follow on Saturday, July 6, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Beulah Grove Baptist Church, situated at 1434 Poplar St, Augusta, GA 30901.

Mr. Dunbar's legacy of kindness and professionalism will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace.
