Larry B. Wright

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Billy Wright, who peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home on December 5, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia, at the age of 74. He was born on February 2, 1951.

Larry dedicated 47 years of faithful service to his career at Georgia-Pacific before retiring on September 30, 2022. He took great pride in his work and was respected for his commitment and professionalism.

Known for his stylish, dapper appearance, Larry was truly a showstopper wherever he went. His presence, confidence, and sense of style left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Larry’s memory will forever be cherished by his wife, Diana Williamson-Wright; his devoted daughter, LaShun Williamson; his son, Larry D. Williamson; his daughters, Judy Williamson, Fuscia Williamson, and Maria Ardis; his beloved grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Larry Wright’s legacy will live on in the love he gave, the memories he created, and the many lives he forever touched. He brought warmth and joy to all who knew him, leaving behind cherished memories that will be held close forever.
