Augusta, Georgia - Leslie Gillam, 65, of Augusta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2023. Born on May 2, 1958, Leslie was a beloved husband, friend, and community member.

Leslie spent his life spreading kindness and positivity to all those around him. He had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up any room. Leslie was known for his warm personality and genuine care for others. He made friends easily and cherished every moment he spent with them.

Leslie's love for his family was immeasurable. He shared an unbreakable bond with his wife Charlette Gillam, whom he cherished dearly. Their love story served as an inspiration to all who witnessed it. Leslie's devotion to his beloved wife was unmatched and their time together was filled with endless love and joy.

In addition to his loving wife Charlette Gillam, Leslie is survived by many dear friends who will miss him tremendously. His kind spirit and infectious laughter will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.

To celebrate Leslie's incredible life, friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation service on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext in Augusta, Georgia.

A funeral service to honor Leslie's memory will take place on Thursday, August 10th, 2023 at 2:30 PM at the same location. The service will be a testament to Leslie's life and the impact he made on those around him.

Leslie Gillam was a beacon of light in our community. His compassion, generosity, and unwavering spirit will live on in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
