Lillie M. Toomer

Lillie M. Toomer was born on July 4, 1921, in Blythe, Georgia, and was baptized at an early age at Doyle Grove Baptist Church in Blythe, Georgia. She attended school in Richmond County.

Lillie lived a long. faithful, and blessed life. She was a devoted mother, godmother, cousin, and friend who loved her family dearly and cared for others with a kind and giving heart.

On Thursday, August 13. 2026, Lillie entered into eternal rest at her residence.

Lillie was preceded in death by her dad, mom, and husband, Walter.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted and loving daughter, Odessa Hall; a granddaughter, Lauren Toomer of San Francisco. California; two grandsons. Melvin (Angela) Toomer; Cornelius Felton of Augusta, Georgia; and a great-granddaughter, Melody Toomer of San Francisco, California; three devoted Godchildren: Eric (Sherry) Smith of Augusta, Georgia; J'Mani S. Ingram of North Augusta, South Carolina; and Monokia (James Ingram) of North Augusta, South Carolina; Devoted cousin Bishop Willie Jackson and Mr. Jesse; two devoted friends, Carolyn Smith and Ruby Simmons, as well as a host of cousins and friends.
