Martha Ann Woods, a beloved member of the Augusta community, passed away on August 24, 2025, in her cherished hometown of Augusta, Georgia. Born on May 29, 1957, Martha was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her, shining with warmth, generosity, and an unwavering spirit.

Martha's life was a tapestry woven with love and laughter. From her earliest days in Augusta, she captivated hearts with her kind nature and genuine smile. She embraced a life full of purpose, making every moment with family and friends one to remember. Her laughter resonated through gatherings, infusing joy into even the simplest occasions.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Martha’s life during two special services at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA. On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, loved ones are invited to share in a visitation, where stories and memories will be exchanged in honor of Martha's incredible journey. The following day, Thursday, September 4, 2025, a Celebration of Life will commence at 11:00 AM, culminating at 12:00 PM, as friends and family unite to reflect on her legacy and the lasting impact she made in the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Martha leaves behind a wealth of cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness and spirit. Her legacy is a reminder of the beauty of friendship and the importance of embracing life with passion and love.
