Michael Oliver Aaron, a dedicated commercial truck driver and cherished family man, passed away on May 5, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia. Born on September 13, 1969, in Augusta, Michael was a lifelong resident of the community he proudly served both personally and professionally.
A graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School in Augusta, Michael went on to build a career marked by reliability and commitment as a commercial truck driver. His work allowed him the opportunity to provide steadfastly for his family, a role he embraced with great devotion.
Beyond his career, Michael’s greatest joy was his role as a father and grandfather. He cherished family life and found profound happiness in spending time at home surrounded by loved ones. Michael’s presence will be mourned deeply by those closest to him, who remember him as a devoted patriarch who placed family at the center of his world.
Michael’s surviving family includes his daughter, Katesha Tiller, and son, Michael Aaron, Jr. He also leaves behind his bonus children: Joel, Fufu, Sierra, and Quenton. He is survived by four siblings: Diane Aaron, James Aaron, Jr., Harold Aaron, and Jackie Hazel, as well as his brother-in-law, George Hazel. Michael’s enduring partnerships and friendships include Christine, his forever love, and Poochie, his best friend. His legacy continues through his two grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will hold his memory dear.
Preceding Michael in death were his beloved parents, James Aaron, Sr. and Lucille Aaron. Michael’s life and spirit remain a guiding light for all who knew him, a testament to the strength of family bonds and the quiet dignity of a life well-lived.
