Michael Clark, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on April 11, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia, at the age of 56. Born on June 26, 1968, in Miami, Florida, Michael's life was characterized by a vibrant spirit and a remarkable ability to connect with others. He graduated from Butler High School, where he was an active member of the school band and the BSA Pack 126 Troop 162.
Throughout his career as a service advisor at Jim Hudson Cadillac, Michael was known for his dedication and commitment. He formed a close-knit bond with his colleagues, creating a second family at work that adored his unique sense of humor and friendly demeanor. Michael embraced life boldly, living on his own terms—his unforgettable presence left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
Michael is survived by his loving family, including his cherished children: Chandreka Gadson, Jaylen Clark, and Johnathan Clark. His legacy will also be carried on by his grandson, Mekhi. Michael is lovingly remembered by his parents, Arthur and Nita Clark, and his sister, Marcia (Pierre) Russell. He is also survived by close friend Trey Dukes and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who held him dear in their hearts.
Michael's memory will be honored during a memorial service on June 26, 2025, at New Zion Hill Missionary Church in Augusta, Georgia, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by inurnment at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Hephzibah, Georgia, beginning at 12:15 PM.
He is predeceased by his brother, Freddie Clark, and his uncle, Hope Clark. Michael's journey may have come to an end, but his spirit and the laughter he brought to life will be forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
