Michael Kellar

Michael "Spike" Keller, age 70, passed away on September 8, 2026, in East Point, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Moses Keller Sr. and Almary Mctire, and his beloved wife, Cheryl Millsap Keller.

Michael is survived by his two step-sons, Tony Jones of Atlanta, Georgia, and Michael Jones of Buford, Georgia, and his three loving grandchildren, Dayla Jones, Xzavia Jones, and Elias Jones.

He is also survived by his loving and devoted sister-in-law, Cheryl A. Keller, and his three brothers, Moses Keller, David Keller (Beatrice), and Clifford Jordan (Margaret), Childhood friends, Darrell Thurmond and Eugene Walker along with many other family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

Michael retired from the construction trades union. In his leisure time, he enjoyed studying his Muslim faith, mastering his pool game, and, most importantly, talking with, encouraging, and mentoring young people.

Michael was a devout Muslim, and his funeral arrangements and services were conducted in accordance with Islamic traditions and guidelines.

A Public memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Michael’s life, legacy, and the lasting impact he had on those who knew and loved him.
