Michael Anthony Williams

Mr. Michael Anthony Williams, age 63, born October 10, 1962, entered into eternal rest on July 5, 2026.

Michael was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, fiancé, uncle, father-in-law and dear friend whose kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be remembered for his warm smile, deep love for his family, engaging sense of humor, and his signature dark shades. He was self-employed and took great pride in his business, which he truly loved. He also enjoyed playing cards, particularly spades, where he earned recognition as a tournament champion.

Michael attended the Richmond County School System and was a proud member of the T.W. Josey High School Class of 1980.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved mother, his father and one grandson.

He is survived by his beloved son, Sammie (Monique) Sapp; his cherished grandchildren, Brycen, ShaPassion, and Eric; his sister, Valerie W. Givens; his brother, Alvin Williams; his fiancée, Jacqueline Brownlee; his nieces, Cavada Robertson, Cynthia Givens, Alicia Williams, Starlisha (Kenora) Germany, and Valencia Jordan; his nephew, Jason Rollen, Sr. and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at C.A. Reid Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Elder Larry Knight. Interment will follow at Southview Cemetery, 1102 Nellyville Road, Augusta, Georgia.
