Morris Bruce Marshall

Morris B. Marshall, 75, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Mr. Marshall was born in Augusta, Georgia, at University Hospital to May Pearl Linkston. He married Patricia Timmons on June 30, 1998. Morris was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a faithful friend.

Morris worked faithfully as a contractor at Garden City Food Services at Fort Gordon. He was never shy about sharing the love of God with his co-workers. He always had a word of encouragement and an inspiring message.

Morris was an active member of Whole Life Ministries since 2002, faithfully serving as an usher for many years. Friendly and cheerful, he never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcome. You would often find him at his “post” as an usher, welcoming everyone with a smile. Whatever the need, no matter how great or small, all anyone had to do was ask, and without hesitation, Morris would be there to assist. Morris had a true heart of a worshipper. He loved the Lord and demonstrated this love through exuberant praise and worship. 

Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his mother: Mary Pearl Langston. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Marshall; his daughter, Laquisha McBride; his sons, Demorris Marshall and Marquette Marshall; seven grandchildren; and his brother, Phillip Marshall (Edith).
