Nicholas D. Jones, Jr., a cherished son, sibling, and friend, passed away on November 12, 2025, in WestChester, Illinois. Nicholas was a beacon of light in the lives of those around him; his warm personality and unwavering loyalty left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Nicholas dedicated his career to Steinhafels & Temco, where he took immense pride in his work. His colleagues and customers alike appreciated his friendly and reliable nature, always bringing a smile and a helping hand. Nicholas was not just an employee; he was a beloved member of his workplace family, embodying commitment and compassion in everything he did.
Known for his infectious sense of humor and genuine kindness, Nicholas brought joy into everyday moments. He will be remembered for his kind heart and the deep care he showed to those he loved. Nicholas had a passion for gaming, spending countless hours playing Call of Duty, where he forged strong friendships and created unforgettable memories that will be cherished by many.
Nicholas is survived by his loving parents, Nicholas D. Jones, Sr. and Lacardia Sharpton; his devoted siblings, Shadajha Jones, Diandra Scott, and Jordan Scott; as well as an extended family of aunts, uncles, and a special friend, Micah. His aunts include Sonya (Donnie) Strawter, Deborah (Ronald) Cobb, Janice (Damon) Stewart, Alicia Grant, Carrie (Kyler) Jones, Tiandra Rollock, and Tammy Rollock. He is also survived by uncles Kenneth Jones, Artifyo Sharpton, and Ale'Jandro Estes.
Nicholas joins his maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, and two uncles and an aunt in eternal rest. His absence will be profoundly felt, yet his spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation services will be held at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at Walker Memorial Park, 620 Laney Walker Blvd, Augusta, GA, on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
Nicholas D. Jones, Jr. will forever be remembered for the joy he spread, his loyalty to friends and family, and the kindness he shared throughout his life. Although he has departed from this world, his legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire those left behind.
