Queen Ester Williams

Queen Ester Sapp, the daughter of the late Louis Sapp, Sr. and Willie Mae Kirkland Sapp, was born on August 23, I937. She was one of fourteen children, the oldest surviving sibling being Corine Sapp Roberson. Her other surviving siblings include Louis (Thelma) Sapp, Mary Ann Sapp Davis, Mae Sapp Palmer, Raymond Sapp, Daniel Sapp, Lorine Sapp, and Ricky Sapp. Her siblings preceding her in death were Betty Sapp, Louis Sapp, Jr., Wilhelmina Sapp, Frances Sapp, and Alonzo Sapp.

She retired as a Nursing Assistant from Claiborne West Lake in Martinez, Georgia.

She was also preceded in death by her children, Jerry Sapp and Ester Divine.

She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Gary (Vonda) Sapp, Tracy Sapp, Jeddy Sapp Divine, Judy Divine, and Calvin Williams; daughter-in-law, Teresa Sapp; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; seven siblings; and a host of extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by Queen's presence and kindness.
