Mr. Reginald Dion Dickerson Sr. entered peaceful rest on June 25, 2026, at the age of 64. He was a beloved father, fiancé, brother, uncle, nephew, grandfather, and friend whose love, strength, and presence touched the lives of all who knew him.

Reginald was born on April 26, 1962, in Augusta, Georgia, to Joseph L. Dickerson and Bessie D. Dunton. He was preceded in death by his parents and will be remembered for his unwavering strength, kind heart, infectious sense of humor, and deep love for his family.

For the past 14 years, Reginald shared his life with his devoted fiancée, Teresa Harvard, whose steadfast love and faithful companionship brought him comfort, joy, and unwavering support through life’s many seasons.

An avid fisherman and a man of many talents, Reginald had a remarkable gift for working with his hands and could fix almost anything. He was a self-employed carpenter and skilled automotive mechanic who took great pride in his craftsmanship. Throughout his career, he applied his talents in the building maintenance industry and as a commercial painter at the nuclear reactors at Plant Vogtle in Augusta, Georgia. Whether he was casting a fishing line, cooking and grilling for family gatherings, repairing something for a neighbor, or lending a helping hand on a project, Reginald found genuine joy in hard work and in serving others.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory of his four children: Steven (Samantha) Dickerson, Mary (Moses) Dickerson-Talbert, Elizabeth Dickerson, and Reginald Dickerson Jr. He is also survived by his sisters, Dealynn (Will) Fryer and Angela (Nicholas) Christensen; his brothers, Damian Dickerson and Michael Dickerson; his beloved granddaughters, Melanie and Victoria Dickerson; and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Reginald’s legacy is one of love, resilience, integrity, hard work, and unwavering devotion to his family. Through his generosity, wisdom, and quiet strength, he left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know him. The countless memories he created will be treasured for generations to come. Though he will be deeply missed, his love and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
