Mr. Reginald Leord Jackson, Jr. was born on June 22, 1949, in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was the eldest of two children, born to Annie Bell Denson and the late Reginald Jackson, Sr.“Ricky” is what is known as an “Army Brat”. In his early childhood, he attended elementary school in Europe, junior high school in Utah, and high school at Campbell Street High School in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he was an accomplished student, outstanding athlete, and very popular. Ricky was very likeable and made friends easily.Rickey excelled in a variety of jobs, quickly mastering new skills wherever he worked. As a teenager, he learned to repair cars, and as he grew older, he became an electrician, working for several companies, including C. A. Reid, Sr. Notably, he contributed to projects such as the electrical wiring of the civic center. In the later years of his career, Ricky worked with multiple construction companies, where he taught others how to operate complex equipment. He was to go-to person for fixing and repairing just about anything.Ricky had a deep love for his family and was always there to support and care for them. He will be greatly missed.
Cherishing his memory are: his beloved wife, Patsy “Rita” Jackson; beloved mother, Annie Bell Denson; sons, Narvelle Jackson, Al Jackson, and Sonya Reese; special sons, Noble Lewis, John Holt, and Wesley Walton; sisters, Margaret Loletha Denson and Marilyn Jackson; special sisters, Albertha Barnes and Dorothy Buck; special brother, Frank Benjamin; grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
