Renee was born on October 1, 1972, in Augusta, GA. She grew up in this close-knit community and developed a deep love for her hometown. Renee attended Lucy C. Laney High School where she became known for her warmth, compassion, and bright spirit. Throughout her life, Renee exemplified grace, kindness, and unwavering strength. Her contagious smile could light up any room she entered and her gentle nature brought comfort to those around her. Renee had an unwavering commitment to her family and friends; they were the pillars of her life.

In addition to being a devoted mother to her daughter Rochelle Boyd, Renee also found joy in being a positive influence in the lives of many others. She touched countless hearts with generosity and selflessness. Renee's legacy of love and care will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation service which will be held on Thursday, February 15th at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA. The visitation will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 6:00 PM. A funeral service to honor Renee's life will be held on Friday, February 16th at Greater Young Zion Baptist Church, located at 405 Sand Bar Ferry Rd, Augusta, GA. The service will commence at 2:30 PM and conclude at 3:30 PM. Following the funeral service, a burial ceremony will take place at Walker Memorial Park, located at 620 Laney Walker Blvd, Augusta, GA. The burial is scheduled to begin at 3:45 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM.

During this difficult time of grieving the loss of Renee, let us remember her legacy of love, compassion, and strength. She has left an indelible mark on our lives and her memory will forever be cherished. Renee is survived by her loving daughter Rochelle Boyd. She had a special bond with Rochelle that transcended words and their connection will endure beyond time.
