Rhonda Renee' Timpson

Rhonda Renee' Timpson, born on January 19, 1970, in Lincolnton, Georgia, gracefully journeyed through life until her departure from this world on September 21, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia. Her spirit now soars free, but her memory will remain etched in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Embracing her community with an open heart, Rhonda dedicated her career to the hospitality sector at Riverside Elementary School, where she brought warmth and kindness to every interaction. Her role there was more than a job; it was her calling to nurture young minds and offer them a nurturing environment, peppered with her signature loving smile.

Rhonda’s humble spirit was matched only by her loving personality. She had a unique gift for making others feel special and valued, a characteristic that endears her to those who had the pleasure of crossing her path. Her laughter and positivity radiated like sunshine, illuminating the lives of family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to experience her warmth.

She leaves behind a deeply loving legacy, including her devoted daughters, Jamika Jackson and Chaquita Timpson-Henley, and her son, Leroy Timpson. Rhonda's heart further expanded to embrace her bonus daughter, Brianna Reeves, and to cherish her 13 grandchildren who were the lights of her life. By her side through life’s many ups and downs was her life partner, Torrian Houston, with whom she shared countless cherished moments.

Creating bonds that traversed generations, Rhonda is also survived by her dear sisters, Teresa Timpson and Shamika Moore and her brothers Rasheen Simmons and Emanuel Moore. She lovingly leaves behind nieces and nephews whose lives were enriched by her affection, strength, and unwavering support.

The echo of loss reverberates profoundly for those mourning the absence of Rhonda. She is now reunited with her late father, James Russell Turner, and her late mother, Lizzy Bell Tennant, along with her brother, Tony Timpson. Their spirits embrace her in a haven beyond this earthly realm.

Friends, family, and all whose lives were touched by Rhonda are invited to celebrate her life. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2025, at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will follow the next day on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Bethany Church in Clarks Hill at 11:00 AM, with interment at Walker Memorial Park in Augusta at 12:45 PM.
