Ronald is survived by his beloved daughter, Whitney Williams, and his son, Ryder Ronald Houston. He leaves behind a loving family that includes his sisters, Anita (Eric) Porter and Catherine (James) Foster, as well as his brother, Calvin Lamont Houston. He experienced the joys of being a grandparent, sharing laughter and wisdom with his grandchildren, and he relished the bonds he had with his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Butler, his mother, Emma Houston, his sister, Brenda Lee Butler, and his brother, Arthur Butler, Jr. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved Ronald.
The Viewing for Ronald Houston will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, Georgia, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will follow on Monday, February 9, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM, also held at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather together to honor and remember a man who left a significant mark in the lives of those he encountered.
