Mrs. Rosa Lee Holloway, age 75, of Augusta, Georgia, formerly of Edgefield, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on November 7, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on September 4, 1950, in Edgefield, South Carolina.
Rosa was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, whose love and strength touched everyone whoknew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Drew Holloway (April 11, 1987), and her beloved sons, Larry Holloway (April 29,2025) and Dennis Holloway (June 14, 2023).
She leaves to cherish her memory two loving daughters, Dorothy (TimothyBruton and Lenora (Regina) Holloway; a bonus son, Jeff Quiller; her devoted companion, Samuel Leverett III; ten cherished grandchildren — Julius Sr. (Pashawna), Tony, Timeeka, Megan (Nick), Kandise (Morgan), Jordan (Rori), Jessica (Ryan), Larry (Mahogany), Karneshia, and Sommer; eighteen great-grandchildren — Tony II, DeSean, Tanyla, Tanae, Sa'Miyah, Nadia, Rosemary, Jacqueline, Caden, Ah'Mir, Lyrical, Layla, L’Immensite, Runa, Hudson, Ah'Niya, Jaylah, and Julius Jr.; and two precious great-great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Kayden. She also leaves behind a very special God-daughter, Samathia Martin.
Rosa dedicated over 30 years of service to the Richmond County Board of Education, where she worked faithfully and built lasting relationships with colleagues and students alike. Her work ethic, compassion, and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Rosa enjoyed life’s simple joys — spending time with family, sharing laughter, and showing love through acts of kindness. Her legacy of faith, dedication, and love will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
