Rosa Webb-McGahee, 84, of Augusta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026.

Born on June 25, 1941, in Augusta, Georgia, Rosa was the beloved matriarch of her family. She was known for her kindness, strength, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her. Her warm spirit and caring heart touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rosa found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with those she loved. She will be remembered for her wisdom, wonderful sense of humor, and the unconditional love she shared so freely.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and J.D. Webb, her siblings, Elbert Webb, Dilly Webb, and Joyce Merritt.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Lynn McGahee and his fiancée, Sylvia Batts, of Augusta, Georgia; her daughters, Doris Glynn of Augusta, Georgia, and Belinda (Ernest) Frazier of Augusta, Georgia; her brother, Theodore Webb of Augusta, Georgia; her beautiful grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
