Ruth Yarbray

Ruth Yarbray, a lifelong resident of Augusta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on September 5, 1939, in Augusta, Ruth devoted her life to her work and community after enjoying a fulfilling career which she later retired from.

Ruth’s contributions to her community were numerous, and she was held in high regard by many who knew her. She was a person of great integrity and kindness, and her warm spirit touched the lives of those who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her. Her dedication and passion for her work and her unwavering commitment to family and friends will be fondly remembered.

A visitation to celebrate Ruth's life will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. Following this, a Celebration of Life ceremony is scheduled for October 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM, also at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, concluding at 12:00 PM.

Ruth will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind cherished memories that will continue to resonate in their hearts.
