Sadie Mae Moon

Sadie Mae Moon, a beloved member of the community, sadly passed away on December 24, 2023 in Augusta, GA. She was born on February 14, 1932 in Columbia County, GA. With a heavy heart, we remember Sadie's remarkable life and the many lives she touched.

Sadie was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent her career as a self-employed housekeeper. Through her work, she demonstrated her unwavering commitment to providing for her family and serving others. Her diligence and attention to detail were evident in everything she did.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sadie was deeply rooted in her community and cherished by those who knew her. She had a warm and welcoming presence that brought comfort to all who crossed her path. People were drawn to her positivity and genuine kindness. Sadie possessed an incredible ability to lift spirits and bring joy to those around her.

Family meant the world to Sadie. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother. Her loved ones knew they could always count on her unwavering support, words of wisdom, and tender care. Her home was a place filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

To honor Sadie's life and celebrate the impact she had on so many people's lives, visitation services will take place on Friday, December 29th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 30th at 11:00 AM at Gethsemane Baptist Church, situated at 1485 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30901. Following the service, Sadie will be laid to rest at Walker Memorial Park located at 620 Laney Walker Blvd, Augusta, GA 30901.

Sadie Mae Moon leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be remembered by her family and friends. Although she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories and lessons she imparted.
