Sara B. Fair

Sara Bush Fair was born on June 29, 1951, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Ethel Hope Bush Sr. and Eulie Brinson Bush. A proud graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School, Sara began her career as an X-ray Technician at University Hospital before dedicating 30 years of faithful service to the Richmond County Board of Education. She retired in May 2025.

Sara was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy was her family. Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. She became a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in September 2023, where she faithfully worshipped and participated in the church’s Birthday Month Prayer Ministry. Sara enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to gospel music, and attending worship services. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, loving heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering faith.
