Shirley Anne Tyson

Shirley A. Tyson of Augusta, GA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026. Born and raised by Mattie Sue Luke in Grovetown, Ga.

Shirley gave her life to Christ at an early age. She Graduated Harlem High School and went on to gain her Associate's Degree in college. Shirley's greatest accomplishment in life was her children.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Mattie Sue Luke, and Robert Lee Tyson.

Shirley leaves behind her cherished children: Kemeatrices Bond (Christopher Bond), Larry Crawford JR, Stephawn Jennings, Deanna Poindexter, Mariah Cobb, Christina Lester, and Tia Scott all of Augusta, GA; her beloved grandchildren, Hope Jennings, Jayden Poindexter, Kayden Poindexter, Paige Bond, Grace Jennings, and Bentley Poindexter all of Augusta, GA; A beloved brother Robert Luke Sr (Augusta, GA) and loved uncle Huery Bentley Jr (Harlem, GA) and a host of other nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends who were never considered friends only family who she loved dearly.
