Stanley Lorenza Walker, born on August 3, 1969, in Louisville, Georgia, passed away on January 29, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia. He was widely known for his exemplary career in customer service at U-Haul, where his dedication to helping others shone through every interaction. Stanley embodied the true definition of a people person, engaging warmly with everyone he met and forging lasting relationships filled with kindness and respect.

Stanley's passion for life extended beyond his profession; he cherished family events and was a devoted father to his children: Shareeca, Telvin, Aaron, Nakeidra, Nadia Dennis, JaQuan Richardson, Zyshonne McDowell, and Zaire McDowell. His grandchildren, including Andres Hinds, Tylan McDowell, and ZaCarri McDowell, brought him immense joy and pride. He embraced the role of not just a father, but a grandfather, imparting wisdom and humor to the younger generations.

An avid car enthusiast, Stanley found immense fulfillment in restoring classic cars. He viewed each new project not only as a challenge but as an opportunity to express his creativity and skills, often inviting family and friends to join him in these endeavors.

Stanley is survived by his loving father, Tom Kelly; siblings Myron Brooks, Toya, Jasmine, Jacqueline, and Anthony Kelly; as well as many other relatives and friends who will remember him fondly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Mae Walker; his step-father, Willie Brooks; and his brother, Maurice Brooks.

His legacy of warmth, connection, and innovation in the automotive restoration world will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
