Starlyta Stewart

Starlyta Simone Stewart was born on May 25, 1979, in Augusta, GA, to the late Romenthia Elaine Stewart. Starlyta was a reflection of her beloved late grandmother, Betty Jean Lyons, Starlyta will always be missed by those whose hearts she touched. She attended Richmond County Schools and later became the proud mother of two amazing young men, whom she loved dearly.

Affectionately known as “Star,” she had a heart of gold and would generously help anyone in need, especially her family and friends. Starlyta loved deeply and would fight you in a minute for what was right for her loved ones. She always brightening the room with her infectious smile.She is survived by her two sons, Antonio Stewart of Atlanta, GA, and Reginald Stewart of Augusta, GA; one sister, Ms. LaChaka N. Stewart of Augusta, GA; two uncles, Mr. James Stewart of Atlanta, GA, and Mr. Robin Lyons Jr.; two great-aunts, Ms. Martha Brinson and Ms. Marie Dove of Atlanta, GA; three great-uncles, Mr. Moses Stewart of Augusta, GA, Mr. Robert Stewart, and Rev. David Stewart, both of Atlanta, GA; two devoted friends, Mr. Raymond Herbert and Ms. Marilyn Hollins of Augusta, GA; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
