Stuart Bostic Sr. was born on December 20,1952 in Augusta, GA. The youngest child of Mary and Charles Palmer Bostic.Sr. He entered into rest on Monday, June 1, 2026 at The Oaks Nursing Home, Athens, GA.
He attended the area elementary and middle schools and graduated from Lucy C Laney High School in 1970.
Through a 25 year companionship with Ms. Patricia Nipper, their son, Stuart Bostic, Jr., Grovetown, GA and daughter, Nakeisha Tinsley, Jacksonville, FL. were born. He is also survived by his older son, Serranzo Turner, Kissimmee, FL.
In addition to his parents, Stuart was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Charles Palmer Bostic, Jr and Gary Curtis Bostic.
He is remembered most for his generous love and compassion for animals. This led him to work as a veterinarian's assistant at AidMore Animal Clinic in Augusta from the mid1970s to the early 1980s. After that time and prior to his illness, Stuart successfully owned and operated a janitorial service company. This was coupled with employment at the Richmond County Board of Education.
Stuart was an avid sports enthusiast, this along with his desire to help mold the community youth led him to coach both boys and girls in basketball, football, softball and baseball at the Bernie Ward Community Center in Augusta for a number of years.
In addition to his sons and daughter, Stuart leaves to carry on one brother, Randolph Bostic, Houston, TX, one sister Meredith B Furel (Richard), Douglasville, GA. 6 grandchildren, Airman First Class Kavon Bronston, Miles Bostic, Shakieja Davis, Justin Brown; Serranzo Turner Jr., Savion Turner and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
