Sylvia Ann Barefield

Sylvia Ann Barefield, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 65. She was born in Aiken, SC on May 12, 1958, and it was in this charming town that she lived a beautiful and fulfilling life.

Sylvia's journey on this earth was marked by unwavering love and devotion to her family. Her legacy will forever be felt in the hearts of her surviving daughters, Kimberly Stallings, Tamara Barefield, and Kechia Stallings, as well as her son Jeffrey Barefield. Sylvia's unconditional love served as a guiding light to each of them in their lives.

Sylvia touched the lives of those around her with kindness and warmth. She had an infectious smile that brightened even the darkest of days. Her compassionate nature knew no bounds, and she always went above and beyond to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Sylvia's selflessness resonated deeply with all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The memory of Sylvia Ann Barefield will be honored during a visitation service on Saturday, November 18th at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, GA. Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM on that day.

A funeral service will be held at Bean Pond Church in Jackson, SC on Monday, November 20th at 2:00 PM. Following the service, Sylvia will be laid to rest at Bean Pond Church Cemetery.

Sylvia's departure from this world leaves a void that cannot be filled. However, her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories shared and the love she instilled in the hearts of those who knew her.
