Whitney Ann Fuzz was born on September 28, 1993, in Augusta, Georgia, to her loving parents, Javelin Fuzz and Carlton Hughes. She departed this life on August 31, 2026.
Whitney attended school in Richmond County and later earned her GED. She became a certified forklift driver and took pride in her work. Whitney was a devoted reader of God’s word; her favorite passage was Psalm 23. Known for her sense of humor, kind heart, and loving spirit, Whitney had a way of bringing comfort and joy to those around her.
Whitney will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and those who were blessed to know her. Her life and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Rosie and McCathern Rouse; maternal grandparents, Annie Lewis and John Fuzz; paternal grandparents, Mildred and Jesse Hughes; great-aunts, Gloria Rouse, Martha Rogers, and Luretha Burley; and uncle, Rongie Fuzz.
Whitney leaves to cherish her loving memory her parents, Javelin Fuzz and Carlton (Susan) Hughes; sisters, Keandra Thomas and Jayla Fuzz; cousins whom she loved like siblings, Ashley Busbee and Damien Fuzz; aunts, KaTonya Fuzz and Minister Beverly (Pastor Boynett) Nesbitt; uncles, John Lewis, Tony Fuzz (Kim), Jesse (Mary) Hughes, Christopher Hughes, and Arthur (Lynn) Griffin; nieces, Kaylin, Kaydance, Khloe and Kensley Bell; nephews, Jordan and Christopher Bell; great-nephew, Chozen; great-niece, Keomil; godbrother, Phinazee King Jr.; godsister, Laquanta King; and a host of loving cousins, relatives, and dear friends.
Whitney's presence will be deeply missed, but the love, memories, and joy she brought into the lives of her family and friends will never be forgotten. May she rest peacefully in the presence of the Lord, forever surrounded by His love.
