Wilbur Lonnie White, Jr. passed away on August 28, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on January 24, 1965, in Augusta, and his life remained closely rooted in the city where he was born. He will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by the family who shared in his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Williams; his father, Wilbert L. White, Sr.; his mother-in-law, Nellie Pearl Brown; his father-in-law, Joe Lewis Brown, Sr.; his sister, Alice “Cookie” White; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Lewis Brown, Jr., Robert Ellis Norris, and Larry Bostic.
Wilbur leaves behind his beloved wife, Sandra White. He is also survived by his children, Wilbur White and Lashantice Dunn, and by his stepdaughters, JaQuetta Davis and Arneque Hightower. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, including Cornelius and Cassandra White, Albert and Janice Greenwood, Sr., Walter and Cookie Harris, Jerry Woods, Joanna Williams, Nobie White, Angel White, Marlisa White, and Janie Cheatham. His memory will also be cherished by his sisters-in-law Doris Williams, Lyndia Martin, Burnett Brown, Willie Mae Herrington, Lisa Brown-Jones, Monica Smith, Faye Smith, and Cassandra Daniels, as well as by his father-in-law, James Williams. Their lives were touched by his presence, and they carry forward his memory with affection and gratitude.
A memorial service will be held on September 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, Georgia 30901.
Wilbur Lonnie White, Jr. will be remembered with enduring love by his family and all who mourn his passing. May his memory bring comfort and peace to those who knew him.
