William A. Dunbar, Sr.

William A. Dunbar, Sr., a venerable member of the community, passed away on July 9, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia, the age of 83. Born on June 22, 1942, in Aiken, South Carolina, he lived a life marked by dedication, service, and a deep commitment to his family and friends.

William was known for his unwavering strength of character and his kind spirit, traits that left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He contributed significantly to his community and forged meaningful relationships throughout his life.

A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, commencing at 2:30 PM at the same location. Interment will take place afterward at Walker Memorial Park, where family and friends will gather to pay their final respects at 3:45 PM.
